Announcing the Native Ventures Indigenous Wealth Fund

October 7, 2025 — Native Ventures today announced the Indigenous Wealth Fund, a Native-led investment platform that aggregates capital from Tribal Nations, companies, and aligned individuals to invest in high-growth ventures and to take LP positions in top-tier venture funds. The Fund’s goal is simple and bold: build sovereign wealth, responsibly, for generations; while opening durable pathways into the innovation economy for Native communities.
Why this matters (and why now)
For decades, Native communities have been underrepresented in venture capital; both as investors and as owners of breakthrough companies. Meanwhile, the U.S. is re-industrializing: energy transition, defense resilience, advanced materials, critical infrastructure, and AI-powered software are redefining the next 50 years. The Indigenous Wealth Fund is designed to meet this moment, pairing institutional diligence with community-centered governance, so Native capital helps shape the future, not just watch it.
What we’re building
Two engines of return (a “barbell” strategy):
Direct Ventures: Primary checks, selective secondaries, and co-investments alongside elite managers.
Fund-of-Funds: LP commitments to a curated set of Seed–Growth VC funds with strong access and follow-on capacity.
